2023 Year End Post
2023 has been a year of change for OER & Beyond and Journal of Open Educational Resources in Higher Education (JOERHE)!
This year we celebrated as Sabrina Davis, previous co-editor for OER & Beyond, became an Associate Editor for the Journal of Open Educational Resources in Higher Education (JOERHE); welcomed our new co-editor, Isabelle Antes; and have been delighted in having Zoe Speidel as our contributing editor. Some of Zoe’s pieces include “It’s Not Enough to Be Explicit: Why the Hidden Curriculum Should Be Open Access Part 1 and Part 2” and “‘Change takes time and effort and personnel’: An Interview with Maggie Lynch about the Power and Promise of OER”.
As we look forward to the new year, we will be reaching out to influencers in the field of Open Education as we search for our next Contributing Editor and for select contributions to the blog. We also hope to make visible some of the behind the scenes activities that we have been working on – so keep an eye out for some exciting updates from us on platforms like LinkedIn.
We are looking for a new contributing editor for 2024! Please fill out this form and share this with your networks for all of those interested!
We at OER & Beyond are thrilled to be part of the amazing OER community, and can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store for us, and the field!
