It’s hard to believe, but 2022 is coming to a close! This was a challenging and rewarding year for all of us at OER & Beyond, and we are excited for what 2023 has in store for us. This year, we featured posts from several fantastic authors, and we had a wonderful contributing editor, Jonathan Poritz. This October also marked the first issue of the Journal of Open Educational Resources in Higher Education, or JOERHE. The Journal had a fantastic launch, and we are grateful for all of the authors that submitted papers for publication. We are also extremely grateful to anyone who read an article either in JOERHE or here on OER & Beyond! 

In 2023, we will be welcoming our third contributing editor, Zoe Speidel. Zoe is an Adjunct Instructor in the English Department at Clark College and a Faculty Development Specialist at Oregon Health and Science University. We are excited to have Zoe on board and to have her share her work with all things Open with us and the OER & Beyond community! 

As we look forward to 2023, we are of course also welcoming blog proposals. Please see this section of our website and feel free to contact us with any ideas you have or questions about the proposal process. Thanks again for reading and we will see you in 2023!
